Louise E. Gallegos, 84, passed away peacefully at her Glenoma, Washington, home Sunday, October 18, 2020. Louise was born October 12, 1936, in Portland, Oregon, to Donald Lincoln and Louise Caroline (Roff) Grant.

Louise was a beautiful and loving woman, who will be greatly missed. She loved to cook, bake, and spend time with her family. She enjoyed traveling and road trips, going to the ocean, yard sales and bargain shopping, and trying new foods at different restaurants. She was a member of the Seventh- Day Adventist Church and Church of God.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Grant and Louise Poetzl; children, Gary Lee Penfield, Robert Paul Penfield, and Barbara L Velazquez; granddaughter, Amorita Isaura Arias; and siblings, Robert Grant, Judith Norman, Donna Grant, Nancy Simmons, and Donald Grant.

She is survived by her husband, Mario M. Gallegos; sons, Daren (Suzanne) Penfield, and Russell Allen Penfield; daughters, Cynthia Martinez, Linda (Dennis) Penfield-Frost, and Adawna Snyder; 22 grandchildren; 48 great- grandchildren; 4 great- great- grandchildren; and brother, Charles Widmer.

Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 5 PM Thursday, October 29, at Fir Lawn Funeral Chapel in Toledo, Washington. The funeral will begin at 12 PM Friday, October 30, at the Seventh- Day Adventist Church in Morton, Washington, with Chaplain Tom Bradshaw officiating. Burial will immediately follow the funeral at Shoestring Cemetery in Onalaska. Dinner will be served back at the Seventh Day Adventist Church following the burial.
